Sunburst Races will Finish Inside Notre Dame Football Stadium
The 50-yard-line of Notre Dame Football Stadium will once again serve as the official finish line for the 2012 Sunburst Races.
The finish line had temporarily changed to Alumni Soccer Stadium due to construction inside the football stadium this summer. Due to the unusually warm weather in the area, construction crews were able to finish up their work well ahead of time, allowing Sunburst Races to once again end inside the football stadium.
The Sunburst team thanks the University of Notre Dame for their ongoing cooperation and for allowing us to use their fields for Sunburst events.
The 2012 Sunburst Races will take place Saturday, June 2 and will include a Marathon, Half-Marathon, 10K, 5K run, 5K Fitness Walk and a Friday Night Family Walk on Friday June 1. Proceeds will benefit Memorial Children’s Hospital.
